10 DAY CAPE YORK
DAY 1 Cooktown to Bathurst Heads, travel on the Battlecamp road to Old Laura Homestead,through Lakefield National Park and Kalpower Crossing
DAY 2 RELAX! FISH! EXPLORE the Bathurst Heads area
DAY 3 Bathurst Heads to Coen via Lakefield National Park and Musgrave Telegraph Station
DAY 4 Coen to Punsand Bay, cross the Archer River, visit Moreton Telegraph Station, travel the Southern Bypass and cross the mighty Jardine River on the Jardine Ferry
( *option : accommodation in safari tents at Punsand Bay)
DAY 5 Explore the Tip of Cape York Peninsula in the morning followed by an afternoon of leisure. Try a FISHING trip from Punsand Bay, Loyalty Beach or Seisia (own expense- we will arrange for you)
Day 6 Thursday Island
DAY 7 The Tip of Cape York to Moreton Telegraph Station
DAY 8 Moreton to Weipa- enjoy an optional afternoon mine & town tour or optional half day fishing trip

DAY 9 Weipa to Laura
DAY 10 Laura to Cooktown , visit the fantastic Quinkan & Region Cultural Centre, Split Rock Aboriginal Art Site, then Lakeland Downs before arriving in Cooktown in the late afternoon
