Cooktown to Old Laura Homestead, through Lakefield National Park and Kalpowar Crossing.

DAY 2
Kalpowar Crossing to Moreton Telegraph Station.
Camp at Moreton.
Vast open spaces and an ever changing landscape.
DAY 3
Moreton Telegraph Station to Punsand Bay, travel the Southern Bypass and cross the mighty Jardine River on the Ferry. Accommodation at Punsand Bay Private Resort (B/D)

- Moreton to Weipa optional Town & Mine Tour

DAY 7
- Weipa to Musgrave
- Camp at Musgrave
DAY 8
Musgrave to Cooktown, visit the fantastic Quinkan & Region Cultural Centre, Split Rock Aboriginal Art Site, then Lakeland Downs before arriving in Cooktown in the late afternoon

Inclusions: National Park access fees, 1 night accommodation with dinner & breakfast at Lotus Bird Lodge, 2 nights accommodation & catered meals at Punsand Bay.
All camping & Jardine River ferry fees, breakfast, lunch & evening meals except where stipulated or at guests request, air conditioned Toyota Landcruiser GXL, own tent sleeps 2 people & bedding, camping gear, resource & reference material on board, Thursday Island Tour.
Exclusions: personal items, snacks, alcoholic beverages, photographic gear, souvenirs, batteries, torches.
If you like to try a spot of fishing as opportunities arise, bring small fishing rods/breakdown rods.
We can supply hand lines, cast net & bait bucket on a replace if lost basis – please advise when booking.
